Teaching vulnerable women, a skill, such as farming, helps empower and restores dignity to them and their entire family. Through farming fruits and vegetable such as corn, kale, cabbage, sweet potatoes, and bananas, these women can feed their families and sell their excess crops at local markets. On average, these women see a 300% income increase from their small farms. These funds help each woman in our program send their children to school.

We handmake menstrual pads at our Kitale location and our teams distribute them primary in the northwestern region of Kenya. On average, we distribute over 1,000 pads every month to girls in need. As well as delivering our pads to girls in need, our team educates girls and young women on menstrual hygiene management within local schools and communities. Together, we are keeping girls in school.
